Waves in Motion
The Prefab Elegance of the Waterfront Hotel
The Waterfront Hotel stands as Dextall’s first fully realized concept designed entirely through Dextall Studio within Revit—a milestone that demonstrates how digital precision and creative freedom coexist.
Positioned beside the water, the design reinterprets natural movement through architecture. Its wavy aluminum cladding and dynamic spandrel glass façade mirror the ever-changing reflections of sky and sea, allowing the building to shift character throughout the day.
By day, the façade wears a palette of cool blues (RAL 5014 – 5007 – 9004)—a tranquil reflection of the sky that amplifies the sense of calm and openness. As evening falls, neutral metallics and warm yellows (RAL 1000 – 1013 – 9004) awaken the hotel’s form, glowing like sunlight caught in motion.

Between these transitions, an alternate green-toned composition (RAL 6035 – 6036 – 9004) hints at depth and natural harmony—suggesting that a single structure can embody multiple moods simply through material intelligence and color interplay.
The tilted and varying panel depths enhance the illusion of rippling movement, creating a façade that feels alive—responsive to light, water, and time.
