Calm Above the City
A Skyrise Reimagined in Prefab
This 37-story commercial tower was conceived to prove a point: scale is no limitation. With angled walls, shifting heights, and varied panel depths, the design showcases how Dextall’s prefab systems can shape even the most ambitious and complex high-rise forms—without compromising speed, accuracy, or architectural intent.
Where many skyscrapers impose themselves on the skyline, this one was crafted to do the opposite: introduce calmness, softness, and visual balance amid a dense urban fabric.

Varying cladding depth

The tower experiments with cladding as an emotional driver rather than a mere exterior finish. Its three façade variations demonstrate how color alone can shift perception—turning one building into three radically different experiences.
The first two versions lean toward soft grey concrete tones, reflecting serenity and continuity with surrounding stone and concrete towers. These compositions are understated, timeless, and meant to blend seamlessly into the vertical landscape.

The third variation breaks from convention, embracing bold white and red tones—a trend seen across major New York developments in 2024. It reframes the same form as a statement piece, transforming the building into an unmistakable landmark.

This project proves that height, complexity, and expressive form are no obstacle for Dextall—only opportunities. With prefab, a single design can evolve into multiple identities, each ready for a different skyline and story.
