City Blocks in Motion
A Mixed-Use Vision for the Urban Future
This mixed-use project explores how one building can adapt to the shifting pulse of city life. Designed with Prefab Studio and clad entirely in aluminum panels, the concept blends offices, commercial storefronts, and residential spaces into a single architectural form—each expressed through its own façade identity.
Situated at the heart of an imagined metropolis, the building is surrounded by cars, pedestrians, and movement, capturing the everyday rhythm of New York–style urban living.

The shape of the building was driven by its diverse functions. Each use type informs the façade through varying cladding depths, subtle articulation, and color evolution—proving how prefab frameworks can express program, not just enclosure.
A carefully curated color palette—red/brown, gold, and off-white tones—evokes calming autumn vibes. Where other skylines fade into monotone gray, this structure brings warmth and identity to the street.
